The book of Acts is exciting—it’s full of miracles, bold preaching, and the rapid spread of the gospel. But as you study, it’s important to remember Acts is history. It tells us what happened in the early church, not necessarily what will happen in exactly the same way today.

The Holy Spirit moved in different ways at different times—sometimes before baptism, sometimes after. Sometimes miracles were immediate, sometimes they came later. This doesn’t mean God has changed—it means He works according to His perfect plan in each situation.
