Color-Coding Verses

• I try to find verses that seem to contain important spiritual truths.

• In a narrative book like Ruth, it is helpful to find verses that contain the main idea.

• Sometimes it is a part of a verse (such as one sentence), and sometimes it is a whole verse.

• When choosing verses, there is no right or wrong verse to choose and there is no limit on how many you choose.

• Sometimes I choose 2 or 3, and sometimes I choose more.

• You may choose a verse simply because it seems important or because it catches your interest.

  I have completed chapter one for you as an example. The verses that you choose may be different than mine, and that is okay.

• You will find that you will choose more verses when you are studying a letter versus a narrative book, such as this because the letter books are FULL of spiritual truths and words to live by.
