Before you begin to study the Book of John, please take the time to read the entire book and also, research the book background so that you understand the context of the book. This step is very important. If you are using the John Chapter Mapping Workbook, you have a different background research worksheet, you can use either. I designed this one to fit in my new Bible Study Binder system that I am trying to assemble (videos on YouTube). But you do what works for you!!!

There is NO right or wrong way to do this, or what to write!! You use it the way it makes sense to you!!!!

ESV.org has in-depth, trustworthy background information on the Book of John. You can access the digital version of the Global Study Bible for free.

Click the link above and it will bring you to the ESV Bible and you can choose the book of John on the menu at the top. It will most likely take you to Matthew Chapter one so you will need to choose John. Click the book icon (this is a computer screenshot; it will look different depending on what devise you access the website or app from). Once you locate and click the book icon, it will bring you to a collection of study aides. The Global Study Bible is FREE, and it is an excellent resource for in-depth study.
