John 3 is all about new life and big truths. Nicodemus, a Pharisee, sneaks over to talk to Jesus at night, curious about who He really is. Jesus tells him something life-changing: “You must be born again”—not physically, but spiritually—to see the kingdom of God. Then comes one of the most famous verses ever, John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus explains He didn’t come to condemn the world but to save it. Later, John the Baptist confirms that Jesus is the one sent from heaven, reminding everyone that Jesus must become greater, and we must become less. This chapter is all about God’s love, Jesus’ mission to save, and the invitation to believe and receive eternal life. Simple truth: believe in Him and be made new!
